SCHOLARSHIP FOR PERFORMING ARTS - June 15, 2010

Students planning to pursue studies in a recognized program in the performing arts are invited to apply for the Council of the Arts Fredericton Performing Arts Scholarship.

Grant Recipients - August 2006

August 2006 Grant Recipients:
1. Multiple Sclerosis Society of Canada, Atlantic Division: This grant is for the Fredericton Super Cities Walk for MS being held in May 2007.

2. The Fredericton Playhouse: This grant is to bring MIR (a Halifax based alternative pop band) to Fredericton for a week long musical residency with the Fredericton Youth Orchestra.

3. York Foundation: This grant is to be used towards the purchase of a new mini-bus for the residents of York Manor.

4. Fredericton Society of Saint Andrew Pipe Band: This grant is to assist with the purchase of new chanters and tenor drums.

5. Canadian Mental Health Association: This grant is for materials for a workshop entitled Kids Have Stress Too!

6. Crabbe Mountain Ski Patrol: This grant is to assist with the purchase of a pediatric immobilizer (backboard) and a Heartstart Defibrillator.

7. Leo Hayes High School: This grant is to assist in the mounting of an original Philip Iverson work entitled Boat in the cafeteria of LHHS.

8. Leo Hayes High School: This grant is for the purchase of new football helmets.

9. Chimo Helpline Inc.: This grant will be used for the volunteer training program.

10. Provincial Caring Partnerships Committee: This grant will be used for a provincial conference on Family Violence

11. Canadian Red Cross: This grant will be used to assist with the costs of delivering the newly designed Disaster Services Training program. This training will be delivered to all Crisis Response Volunteers.

12. Autism Connections Fredericton: This grant will be used to purchase materials for the Autism Connections resource centre.
