Community Foundation Receives Support

Fredericton Community Foundation has received a $3,000 donation from the Architects’ Association of New Brunswick (AANB).

AANB Past president, Bill Knorr present) presented the donation as part of a two-day industry event and trade show held June 18 and 19 in Fredericton.

Pam Clark, Chair of the Foundation’s Board of Directors said, “It is rare for the Foundation to receive unsolicited donations. We always have to work hard to raise money so this donation was a welcome surprise. It’s wonderful for the community we support.”

Karen Chantler, Executive Director of the AANB said the donation is part of the Association’s ongoing effort to support the communities that the Association holds events in. “The Fredericton Community Foundation is a good community cause. And since the show sold out, we were able to make a fairly substantial contribution.”
