Benjamin Moore Grants

January 6, 2010

Fredericton is one of the communities chosen by Benjamin Moore & Co. for their Community Restoration program. Working with Community Foundations of Canada, Benjamin Moore & Co., Limited is offering grants of cash and paint to support heritage restoration and community projects in Canada. Benjamin Moore has partnered with Community Foundations of Canada (CFC) in order to access CFC’s grantmaking experience and its national network of local community foundations.
Successful projects will receive donated Benjamin Moore paint (up to a retail value of $750), colour expertise, and a cash grant of up to $4,000. Projects supported in the past range from restoration of a small museum, to renovation of a youth centre, to refurbishing rooms in a women’s shelter that operates in a historic home, to contributing to a cutting-edge seniors’ residential complex, and restoring one of Canada’s original post offices. Detailed guidelines for this Program are available under Publications.
