Chair

Jeff brings more than 25 years of leadership experience in IT and cybersecurity, but it’s his passion for community that drives his work with the Foundation. A long-time volunteer on our grant and finance committees, Jeff believes in using innovation to create meaningful impact locally. His goal? To help the Foundation grow its reach while staying grounded in the needs of Fredericton and its people.

Vice-Chair

As President of Victory Meat & Produce Market, Alex understands the value of community connection. With a background in law, business, and municipal leadership, he’s spent years supporting local organizations like Big Brothers Big Sisters and Ignite Fredericton. Alex joined the Board because he believes that strong communities are built through everyday leadership and giving back where it matters most.

Past Chair

Bob has served on our Board since 2016, inspired by our founder’s vision of a lasting impact for Fredericton. As an orthodontist and committed volunteer, Bob’s dedication extends beyond his profession. He’s involved in several community organizations and loves seeing the ripple effect of local generosity, especially during our annual Philanthropy in Action celebration.

Treasurer

Edwin is a passionate community champion who brings over three decades of financial leadership to the Foundation. From supporting youth orchestras to mentoring local theatre initiatives, Edwin believes in sharing his skills to build a more vibrant, inclusive community. His focus is always on long-term impact, and making sure our resources go further, together.

Secretary

Jodi joined the Board in 2018 as a newcomer to Fredericton, hoping to give back and grow her understanding of her new home. As Vice-President of Advancement and Alumni Relations at St. Thomas University, Jodi brings a strong background in community engagement. She’s passionate about spreading the word about the Foundation and connecting more people with its mission.

A dedicated community volunteer and advocate, Emily joined the Foundation to help amplify the voices and needs of local organizations. With experience in both non-profit work and public engagement, she’s passionate about making sure Fredericton remains a welcoming and supportive place for everyone. Emily believes in small actions leading to lasting impact.

Andie first connected with the Foundation while working on our rebranding in 2017 and has been involved ever since. From helping shape communications to planning our Philanthropy in Action events, Andie brings creativity and heart to everything she does. As a Digital Media Coordinator at Fredericton Tourism, she’s passionate about celebrating the people and stories that make this community special.

With years of experience leading IT and service delivery teams, Ed knows that strong communities are built on collaboration. He brings that same people-first mindset to his work with the Foundation, where he’s passionate about supporting causes that lift others up. For Ed, volunteering is about building a better future, one relationship at a time.

Mike has spent more than 25 years helping local ideas take root and grow, from mentoring entrepreneurs to supporting innovation through organizations like NBIF. He and his partner Susan have turned their annual New Year’s Day hockey tournament into a community fundraiser, using creativity and connection to drive impact. Mike believes in the long game of local giving: steady, collective, and transformative.
