About Philanthropy in Action
Philanthropy in Action celebrates the generosity that helps our community grow stronger. Since 2010, the Fredericton Community Foundation has recognized individuals, families, businesses, and groups whose kindness and leadership inspire others to give back.
Each year, our community comes together to honour those who embody generosity in action. The 2026 recipient will be announced on March 19, when tickets for this year’s celebration will also become available.

$125,525 raised to support the causes that strengthen our community.
400 guests gathered to celebrate generosity in the greater Fredericton region.
40+ local businesses supported the evening through our auction and raffle.
